Adventure yoga in the Sierras.

Float.
Breathe.
Flow.

This season, take your practice off land and onto the water—where balance, breath, and a little adventure meet.

Where we flow

Scott’s Flat Lake, Fuller Lake, and Memorial Park Pool — calm water, beautiful settings.

What we provide

Boards, paddles, life jackets — and an experience you won’t forget.

At your level

No experience needed — each class is designed with options for every level.

What’s SUP?

A class that meets you on the water.

We paddle out from shore, anchor the boards in a quiet cove, and flow for an hour on the lake. Beginners go through the same sequence as everyone else, with modifications offered for any pose that needs them.

The boards are wide and stable. Mornings on Scott’s Flat are usually windless, the water is glassy, and the only sound on the lake is the paddles going in and out.

A paddler glides across an alpine lake with granite peaks behind, golden-hour light on the water.

Asked & answered

A few things people want to know.

  • Is SUP yoga beginner friendly?
Absolutely. I provide beginner-through-advanced instruction in every class. Once we anchor, the boards are stable and we work at your pace.
  • Will I fall off the board?
Once anchored, the boards are very stable, and we start in the morning when the water is calm. It is possible — that is what the life vests are for.
  • Do I need to know how to swim?
Yes. You must know how to swim to take a SUP class. Life jackets are provided and required.
  • Can kids take SUP yoga?
Ages 15 to 17 are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult.
  • What should I bring?
Sunscreen, water, and a towel. I provide the boards, paddles, life jackets, anchors, and a dry bag.
  • How far in advance should I book a private group?
Two weeks. Private groups are 2 to 6 yogis at Scott’s Flat Lake; pricing scales with group size.
